For the spooky walk at Attingham Park i think that the audience will be for families and maybe couples of the younger age. families like to do things together and i don’t think teenagers will pay just to go in to a spooky walk they may think it will be boring.
throughout the whole of the video it seems they are always using the rectangular strips. This is aimed at people who are interested in art and enjoy to watch how the rectangles change all the time. the music effect in the background is very soothing and clam, maybe to make you feel like you are there in the atmosphere and in their story they are trying to tell. the concept of using these rectangles is to show how art is formed and how to impress someone.
throughout the whole video all you feel is sadness. this is because its about the news and what happened. the visuals shown are of a woman with paint all over her and then how it disappears, reversing the different stages. the visuals i think are shown like that to show how distraught the girl is and how lonely she is as her facial expression is always straight. this is an audience for people who are into things that are very strange and for people who like that kind of art. the song in the background reflects on what has happened and how people around the while feel sorry for families that have lost somebody. it makes us reflect on what we are hearing in the background whilst the man is talking in the background. this is how real the situation is. its like she is wiping away her sadness and making things happy agin in what has happened.
from watching what andy does, all the lights make you feel fascinated and let you keep on watching. you are wondering how he does it and makes it very interested and enjoyable to watch. the lights have to be fascinating as the audience i would think is for everyone who likes to watch them. he has used upbeat music to go with the production, this makes you feel like you are in a nightclub. all the flashing lights nd the music makes you want to have fun and thats what you do when in a night club. thats why he did this to make you dance and to have fun whilst watching his production.
at 45 seconds onwards, the sound of the little girl crying with laughter is freaky and spooky. this could creep out a lot of people whilst watching the video,. it is effective because it shows that we have a lot of people whilst watching the video. it is effective because it shows that we have a lot of fear for her or maybe humour for what she is doing. it gives us a thrill in to keep watching is she’s going to kill someone.
most of the visuals are reflections of bodies in the window of a house. the visuals reflect on what happen when going trick or treating on Halloween, maybe to scare people or to make them laugh. i think that this whole movie is aimed at children between 10-16 the younger the child the more they are scared, if it was me i would just laugh at whats going on as it is not that true.
to me it does look like they have achieved their aims as they have to put a lot into the video and made every little thing look realistic. for example the pumpkins talking like real people, as they wouldn’t normally.
From looking at my results most of the people who looked at my survey and completed it over landscape photography the best. This was great for me as I wanted to take photos of the beach and scenery around the sea. Others liked black and white photography, however I would have done that for what I was achieving it would have not looked great as I wanted to show the colour and beauty of Barmouth not make it look dark and gloomy from using this type of photography.
One person who completed my survey loved sun sets in photos. Others who I spoke to also liked sun set photos, that was really good to take on board as I love sun set photos and also they make me feel peace and normality to be around such a beautiful place. So when taking the photos I want my audience to feel the same that I feel and admire the work I have done. When doing my production I will take all my audiences feelings and ideas on board to help me throughout the work.
All these photographs again are of the beach, sea and sunsets. They all have a meaning to the person who took the photo and when doing my own I want to have a meaning to my photographs and to make the audience look at them like loads of people look at Adam’s.
All of Adam’s photos have one or two things that are the same repeating in each photo. In his its the sea and rocks. When doing my production I could use one or two things that are repeating themselves in each photo to give the photo meaning and purpose for my audience to look at the photo and admire it.
From looking at his lighting I believe that he has used natural light and has not used colour filters. The sunset one I believe that he has caught a very lovely sunset that brings out all the colour in the beach. With some of my photographs I want to take this inspiration on to help me use the natural light not using filters and brightness effects.
JEN BRYANT :
She has used a lot of long exposure in her Photographs, which I wanted to do in my own. I wanted to use long exposure so that it has some sort of illusion to the each photo.
Her photos are very much clear in what they are and how she shows the water and beach.
All of her photographs can be found on here. As would not let me save them.
My intention was to take photos of the beach at Barmouth. I needed to find professional examples of peoples work that related to my idea and how they will inspire me with my work.
I chose Mike Perry because he does a lot of work by the beach and it looks like he uses a lot of the third rule technique that I have used in some of my photos. That has inspired me for my audience to have a good eye when looking at my photos and he has that same effect so that has inspired me to do the same with my photographs.
Looking at these photographs Mike has used the third rule so that the audience is not looking all over the place they just see the three different things. I want to do something like this in my own photos when editing them if haven’t done this already.
Blog Overview: Daisy – Overall I find your blog to a very high standard especially with the amount of photos shown which are presented and done to a good quality. Each post shown are easy to understand, using categories and titles gives it a professional look which is a good look especially with a photography themed blog. I also really like the use of photos, showing all different types which are all of different effects, done on Photoshop which shows skills and knowledge in how to make them look in a certain way.
From reading my feedback off a peer, I fell very pleased with what she has said because this is what I wanted to do, to make my whole blog make sense with what production I am doing and make it easy for people to read and find the correct information out.
